Introduction to module 2
Each country has a unique way of celebrating, living together, and interacting. In this module, you’ll discover the most representative national holidays, local celebrations, and customs of Spain, Portugal and Ireland, as well as understanding their cultural and social significance.
You will also learn what to expect and how to actively participate in these traditions, including how to dress, what to eat, and how to behave at a public or family celebration.
By completing this module, you will also gain an understanding about the social etiquette and everyday cultural norms that will help you navigate each country naturally, from greetings to schedules and polite gestures.
The information and activities in this module will give you a deep understanding of your new country’s culture, and allow you to integrate, avoid misunderstandings, and feel part of the community.
