Saint Patrick’s Day
A national holiday celebrating Ireland’s patron saint on 17th March. Large parades are held in Dublin, featuring Celtic music and traditional dancing, and the city is painted green with the shamrock symbol representing the Holy Trinity. It is a celebration of national identity and cultural pride.
Halloween (Samhain)
A festival of Celtic origin that marks the end of the harvest season and the beginning of winter. It is believed that on this night the dead return to the world of the living. Traditions include costumes, bonfires, and trick-or-treating.
St. Stephen’s Day
Celebrated on 26th December, the day after Christmas Day. The Wren Boys march through the streets singing and playing traditional music, bringing joy and community unity.
