Why learn by doing?

Culture sticks best when we practice, not just read about it.

Cultural understanding isn’t just about knowing the “facts”, it’s about experiencing how those facts play out in real situations. Reading about customs can give you an idea of what to expect, but only practising in real-life contexts (or realistic simulations) helps you.

Just like learning a sport or a musical instrument, culture becomes natural through practice, not by studying alone.
